Liquid Dubstep Discovery

This is my first post on my blog about liquid dubstep. Now i know there are some hardcore drum n bass fans out there who may say – wait a minute kid, there is no such thing as liquid dubstep. You can’t just simply assign a ‘liquid’ genre of dubstep from the genre ‘liquid drum n bass’.

First of all, i consider myself as totally new to the dubstep scene. I started this blog in the hope of attracting other more knowledgeable peeps in the dubstep scene. I want to learn more and discover more tracks from this amazing genre of music. I have to say i first started my interest in dubstep after hearing Skrillex. Then i got more into it after hearing Modestep’s Sunlight, Torqux & Twist Remix and Invader remix of The Anix – Sleepwalker.

After spending time on Youtube watching dubstep videos and mixes, i came across some compilations that were named ‘liquid dubstep’. I gota admit- i feel in love.

Now this brings me back to the term ‘liquid dubstep’. I believe the term liquid can be applied to any form of music. Liquid refers to a nice chill vibe, and in terms of dubstep, from what i’ve heard so far it can be applied to more vocal (mainly female) and chilled melodic tunes.

As i mentioned, i am totally new to the dubstep scene so please comment on my blog posts so that i can learn more and discover more.
